The “Choice” Between Love & Fear
Love is the nature of Self. Instead of calling ourselves a human being or “I am” or “me”, we can say Love. Love is the way all living organisms wants to express themselves, fully and unconditionally. So, there isn't that much of a choice between love or fear, actually.
Where choice happens is in the perception of an individual self, who is separated from love or from others, the universe, the world, etc. It seems like there is a choice in its actions because there is a perceived individual or chooser within the experience.
As statistical research has shown, when the chooser is the director of our actions, our choices often tend to be fear-based as we operate on a survival mechanism. It applies to everything in our life; from personal life to business & leadership, and to our society, which creates power-oriented, stressful, and separated environments.
By slowly dissolving fearful thoughts like, “What will happen?” “What will I get from this?” “Will I benefit?”, we allow for a space of unconditional love or trust to direct action, rather than the rational process of the chooser or “me”.
How would it be if all our choices were based in love? Both in the way we lead in our businesses, and in the way that we walk on the streets as a global society? What could go wrong?
