Samburu
As I am writing this newsletter, I am reminded by one of my favorite quotes from Kahlil Gibran, “To judge you by your failures is to cast blame upon the changing of the seasons for their inconsistency.”
I took an intentional summer break from writing the newsletter during July and spent that month in Kenya with the Samburu tribe.
I thought I will be back writing here in August but that didn't want to happen so the newsletter break extended until now. Welcome to those of you who joined me here on this newsletter during the break.
Being with the Smaburus and living with a thousands of years old tradition of Nature, Connection, and Dance and sharing the simplest way of life on the planet with was a deep feeling of being home; of how life was meant to be and experienced. True home— the environment and the connection between all living organisms within it— no walls of houses, no ownership of materials and resources, no accesive thinking about things that are not present. Home is the land, not the walls we build on the land.
What am I working on right now and what will be shared on this newsletter from now on?
I'll start with the second answer. I am not sure. After a long time of sharing this newsletter on a weekly basis, I notice there is a shift and it's likely not be as consistent, at least for now. A lot of it is related to my next answer...
Over past year I am investing more and more of my time and energy into The Humane Way– an initiative to end war, division, and oppression in our society. One of the main goals that seems to be emerge is War Free 2033, to end the participation in war in world by 2033. Something in me a deep trust that by 2033 we can have the majority of the world’s population vote for our shared desire for a War Free World and most governments to agree on taking this step. The Humane Way would support this process through advocacy, and facilitating understanding and healing within all living organisms.
And I'll take a moment to share my deep gratitude for many of you here of support me and The Humane Way on this process.
So the words I'll share here at times will be related to The Humane Way and our progress, and at times my regular sharing about many different topics related to our understanding of ourselves, reality, one another, and how it effects us individualy and socially. I'll share here when there is something that wants to be shared, and I'll not share when not. It's simple.
I see on social media many messages in a screaming tone "YOU MUST BE CONSISTENT! CONSISTENCY IS EVERYTHING!" Please don't listen to them. Being is ever-present, and the only thing that is consistent is change.
“To judge you by your failures is to cast blame upon the changing of the seasons for their inconsistency.”

As always, feel free to reach out, ask questions, and share your understanding.
