All of us are Bodhisattvas, we all do our best to alleviate the suffering of our loved ones; family, friends, communities, nations. The “soldier,” the “terrorist,” the “criminal,” like any mother, father, and common person are all as well try to alleviate the suffering of someone in their family, friends, or community. But, of course, there is a way to alleviate suffering and there is a way to alleviate suffering, there is a way to do it that is causing harm to others and there is is a way to do it that is not causing harm to others and the way we go about things, are at least as important as the aim.
